David founded Merrick Design and Build in 1989, the firm has continued to grow as it enters it's 20th year in 2009.

Before MDBI, David worked in the construction industry his entire life. Educated at the Boston Architectural Center, David went on to work for small architects and engineers before changing directions and going into construction.

David has worked for large home builders and in commercial construction but is happiest working in remodeling. "Everything is always a different project and I love the challenges".

Brian ran his own remodeling business for 8 years before joining Merrick. Brian is responsible for all day to day production activities and supervises all MDBI field personal and all sub-contractors.

Ginnie works with each of our customers to select the products and fixtures that will be used in their project. Her unseen job duties include making sure the products are correct and onsite when the production department needs them, as well as the company’s marketing and advertising.
